Set in the hills just north of Ubud in the quaint village of Laplapan Paon Bali Cooking School is ideally situated to provide visitors of glimpse of traditional Balinese life through the experience of preparing many of Bali’s favourite dishes. Your day starts bright and early with a visit to one of Ubud’s traditional wet markets where you will learn how to choose the fresh herbs, spices, vegetables and best cuts of meat. On the way back from the market you’ll make a side tour visiting a rice field to learn more of rural Balinese life. Returning to Paon Bali Cooking School, you will be greeted and expertly guided by your hostess, Puspa, who will teach you Balinese recipes and show you the secrets to create delicious and authentic Balinese cuisine.
